Kit: The new strip debuted on "date" and was worn against "team" resulting in a "score" win/draw/loss. It was worn until "date" in which Chelsea played "Team" in which they "won/draw/loss" "score" Chelsea's strip was again made by Umbro but their sponsor changed to Autoglass. The kit itself was produced twice by Corinthian which saw a few early ProStars don a much more accurate representation. The kit had quite a lot of finer detailing especially around the collar which Corinthian opted not to include (mainly the extra yellow and dark blue, plus the light blue at the top of the socks). The badge also changed from a shield crest to a circle but they did not alter this either, rather sticking with the original tampo print but changing the ink to white. The Autoglass font on both kits are off but the ProStars range came very close whereas the headliners range was void of serifs. The blue used was lighter and this time the colour was closer than what they managed to achieve the year prior.
